Decking is a great way to create usable outdoor space, especially on sloping or uneven ground. We build timber and composite decks on a properly braced, level frame with good ventilation underneath, so the deck stays solid and lasts. Composite decking needs very little maintenance and won't splinter, while timber gives a natural look at a lower cost. We can add steps, balustrades, built-in planters and lighting, and repair or replace tired decking.

  • New-build garden transformation

Gary and his team did an excellent job of turning my neglected, overgrown, new build garden into a beautiful garden with clearly defined areas, including a gorgeous new patio, a large border and a hidden bin storage section. The team were considerate, reliable and hard working. I would highly recommend them.
  • Drainage, new turf and patio

Amazing job by Gary and sons. They solved some drainage issues for me, and laid down a great new turf and a small patio area for my garden sofa. Responsiveness was extremely quick, the job very professional. I highly recommend Gary and sons for your landscaping needs. If I need more work done, Gary will be the person I go to.
  • Back garden transformation

Gary and his team transformed our back garden and we're very happy with it. Gary's attention to detail is what stands out and the desire to ensure the best possible finish. They are coming back to do our front garden in a few weeks. Highly recommended

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Composite or timber?

Composite costs more upfront but needs almost no maintenance and won't rot or splinter. Timber is cheaper and has a natural look but needs treating.

Do I need planning permission for decking?

Usually not, as long as it's no more than 30cm above the ground and covers no more than half the garden.

Can you build decking on a slope?

Yes. A raised deck on a level frame is one of the best ways to use a sloping garden.
